This is the new Tesla sedan know as the “Model S”, seen here partly uncovered over a month before its scheduled unveiling march 26 2009. This California made all electric sports sedan is said to have a 225-240 mile range on a single charge and a $60,000 price tag. Tesla hopes to have it in production by 2010. I can’t wait, I am saving up for it right now and maybe by the time Tesla produces enough examples to satisfy Hollywood’s craving for zero emissions cars I might have enough saved up to get my own.
Performance has not been sacrificed with this electric sedan either, it will do 0–60 mph in less than 6 seconds. And it will look good doing it. Franz von Holzhausen, the former director of design for Mazda North America is responsible for the finshing touches to this sexy sports sedan.

Today was one of the best days we have had all year and its fall now. It was warm and sunny without any humanity. Fall is the best season in the ST. Louis area.

Who says you cant have a Mini and a Super Car? A British engineering company PML has built a hybrid version that can accelerate 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. It does this with the help of 4 electric motors producing 160 horsepower each for a total of 640. It’s called the PML Mini QED and it has an all-electric range of 200 miles and has a total range of about 932 miles with the help of a small internal combustion engine. For highway cruising, the internal combustion engine (ICE) is used to re-charge the battery. In this hybrid mode, fuel economy can be as high as 80 mpg.

Worst flood since the great flood of 1993. It’s so strange to see the roads that I normally drive on deep under water.

The one criticism I have for the 2008 E92 M3 is that it is to flashy in factory form so with a little Photoshoping I have simplified the BMW M3.

During my latest trip to Seattle I had the opportunity to visit Wallace Falls State Park. The park was beautiful. We only had time to hike about a mile from the park entrance. There were much bigger falls further up the mountain that we would have loved to hike to.

Aggressive styling distinguish the M3 as a high-performance vehicle while helping to feed high performance. Its bigger wheels and wider track fill the exceptionally flared fenders and add to its curb presence. Another exclusive performance enhancement is its Carbon Fiber roof panel.

Produced in the same Landshut factory as the BMW Formula One engine, the M3′s all-aluminum 4.0-liter V-8 produces 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of peak torque. This engine has a truly remarkable 8,400-RPM redline, and follows the same high rev philosophy as the V-10 found in the M5 and M6.
